These are soft jelly candies made with fruit juices & fruit fibres.

Yes, Mezmo candies are safe for even a one year old - we recommend to slice the jellies and give to a 1 year old to prevent choking hazards and the same is mentioned on the back of the pack for this very reason.

We have boosted Mezmo candies with a lot of fibre, which ensures a gradual release of glucose and doesn't cause a spike post consumption. However if you are a diabetic then we recommend that you eat Mezmo candies post meals as a dessert.

As a bunch of candy enthusiasts, we wanted to make our sweets as real and healthy as possible. This meant doing away with bright, artificial colours that are made from toxic petroleum-based ingredients.

Mezmo Very Strawberry, Tarty Lemon and Tangelo Orange candies are individually pillow packed. Whereas Mezmo Sweetly Sour Apple and Funky Mango Pineapple come in reusable and resealable zip lock pouches which keeps the candies safe even after having opened the pack. Store them at room temperature, away from sunlight and heat, to enjoy them fresh. Or if you’d like to try something different, refrigerate your candy and enjoy it cold!

Our packaging ensures that they stay fresh and yummy for as long as possible. So if you can resist your cravings for that long, our candy lasts for upto 12 months once opened.

So, make sure you get your five a day and reward yourself with a serving of Mezmo candy! We make sure our candy is as nutritionally sound as they are tasty. All of our candy recipes contain prebiotic fibre that does wonders for your gut health which contributes to a strong and healthy immune system. Some of our candy even contains ingredients like licorice or mulethi extract, which help boost your immunity. That being said, it’s incredibly important to get the right kind of nutrition (that includes candy breaks!), exercise regularly, and take care of your mental health to naturally strengthen your immune system.

Our candy contains added dietary fibre from citrus peels and prebiotic fibre in the form of fructooligosaccharides (a mouthful, we know). Which is great news for the good bacteria that live in your gut! These fibres help them thrive, which in turn promotes probiotic growth in your gut. Which in turn helps with digestion, making for a very healthy and very happy gut!

We have compared the fibre content in Mezmo candies with the fibre content of other fibre rich foods like spinach, banana and avocado.
For eg.
A. 1 cup of spinach(100g) has 2.4g of fibre, and a Mezmo Very strawberry pack contains 11.2g of fibre so it means that one pack of Mezmo strawberry contains as much fibre as 4.5 cups of spinach!
2. Similarly it contains as much fibre as 3 Bananas - 1 Banana(100g) has 1.94g of fibre, and Mezmo Tangelo Orange pack contains 6.4g of fibre so it means that one pack of Mezmo Orange contains as much fibre as 3 Bananas!
3. The same way it contains as much fibre as 3/4 Cups Of Avocado - 1 cup of Avocado(100g) has 10g of fibre, and Mezmo Tarty Lemon pack contains 7g of fibre so it means that one pack of Mezmo tarty lemon contains as much fibre as 3/4th cups of Avocado !

Most candies contain 90% white sugar, it triggers the release of chemicals – opiods and dopamine – that activates the brain’s pleasure centre. Which makes it highly addictive. Mezmo is sweetened with fruit juice concentrate.

Artificial colours are made from petroleum based ingredients, which are toxic in nature. They can cause hyperactivity, irritability, allergies and even cancer in the long run. Mezmo doesn’t use any artificial colours in its formulation.

We haven’t added any citric acid or chemicals to preserve our candies. Our formulation and choice of ingredients doesn’t require any preservatives to be added. Artificial preservatives may cause hypersensitivity, allergy, asthma, hyperactivity, neurological damage and cancer.

Gelatin is made from decaying animal hides, boiled crushed bones, and the connective tissues of cattle and pigs. Animal bones, skins, and tissues are obtained from slaughter houses. Mezmo uses vegan sources such as – fruit based pectin and citrus peel powders for gelling.

Most candy is made from glucose syrup that’s derived from wheat. Wheat contains gluten. More than 10% of all Indians are gluten intolerant. Symptoms of gluten sensitivity in this population can include digestive problems, headaches, rashes, and eczema-like skin symptoms, brain fog and fatigue

GMOs (genetically modified foods) are foods that have been genetically engineered in some way, usually in a laboratory. Non-GMOs are foods that haven’t gone through any sort of genetic modification. Here at Mezmo we haven’t used any ingredients which are GMO.

it is a prebiotic - It has a Prebiotic effect, it aids in good microflora growth. The gut, also known as the second brain, is home to 10 times the microbial cells than the whole body. Prebiotics act as food for the good bacteria in the gut and reduce the pathogenic or bad bacteria.

It takes seven working days for an order to be delivered, depending on your location.

Orders are generally dispatched within 1 day from the time you make a purchase. If your order is placed after 5 pm, then it gets dispatched the next day. And if the order is placed on a Sunday or a bank holiday it gets dispatched the next day.
