Recipe of vegetable chowmein
Ingredients
100g quinoa noodles @naturallyyours6
50g veggies of your child’s choice, cut into juliennes.
1.5 tbs cold pressed sesame oil or any other oil of your choice.
2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp tamari sauce or soya sauce
1/2 spoon lemon juice
Cook the quinoa noodles as per the instructions on the pack.
Once done rinse the noodles with some cold water to stop the cooking process and add some sesame oil.
Heat 1 tbs oil and cook the garlic till light brown, add all the veggies and let it cook lightly, add salt, pepper, garlic powder and tamari. Add the cooked noodles to this and mix. Finish with a dash of lemon.
And voila! This protein rich meal is ready!
