Recipe of Mini Millet Uttapams
Recipe of Mini Millet Uttapams
Ingredients
1 cup millet of your choice
1/2 cup urad dal
1tbs leftover cooked rice
Chopped bell peppers
Grated tofu
Grated cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp cold pressed coconut oil or A2 ghee
Soak the millets and the urad dal together for about 4-5 hours.
Grind the soaked mix with 1tbs cooked rice. Ferment overnight.
Add 1/2 tbs salt to the batter before cooking.
Spread half a ladle of batter into thin round layers over a hot greased iron skillet.
Sprinkle some chopped bell peppers, salt, grated tofu and cheese over the uttapam.
Cook till light brown from both sides.
And voila! Enjoy this protein and mineral rich uttapam with a chutney of your choice.
Goes best with some seasonal organic grapes and date palm chikkis from @thefarmersstore and of course some Mezmos. And that’s how you make your dabba more delightful! :)
