Recipe of Lebanese rice


Ingredients
100g brown rice/ white rice soaked and cooked.
50g whole masoor dal soaked and boiled (drain the water out after boiling).
50g onions cut into juliennes and lightly fried.
1 tbs olive oil or any other oil of your choice.
2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
1/2 tsp spoon lemon
1/2 tsp Arabic spice mix/zattar (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Heat 1 tbs oil and cook the garlic till light brown, add the cooked rice, and boiled n drained whole masoor dal and mix. Add salt, pepper and zattar spice. Garnish with fried onions and lemon juice. Your, high protein and yummy Lebanese rice is ready!
Accompany with some crunchy pistachios, pomogranate pearls and dried apricots and of-course some mouthwatering Mezmos. And that’s how you make your dabba more delightful! :)
